The Problem
Retargeting used to be simple. Someone hit your site → your pixel tagged them → you ran ads.
Now? Not so much.
Pixel retargeting doesn’t work with browsers like Safari and Firefox. HubSpot’s new intent signals (like reverse-IP data via their Breeze product) are a goldmine for a new form of retargeting...
The Play: Step-by-Step
Step
1
Sign up for and enable Buyer Intent in HubSpot
Make sure your HubSpot account has access to buyer intent data (formerly Clearbit. Now known as Breeze). If you haven’t yet, sign up or activate the integration to begin capturing reverse-IP signals.
Step
2
Add Buyer Intent filters in Primer then layer on persona criteria
Filter in Primer for companies where the "record source" field in HubSpot contains 'buyer intent'.
Then, add filters for department and job title to make sure you're reaching the right people — like demand gen, digital marketing, or VP+ roles.
Once you're happy with the audience, click "Finish and Run" to sync it to your ad platforms.
Open your retargeting focused campaigns in Google, Meta, and LinkedIn drop in a synced HubSpot audience to pair with your pixel-based retargeting audiences and launch.
