MCP
Connect your AI assistant to Primer to ask about performance and to get work done: import lists, build and update audiences, and sync them to your ad destinations. Ask questions from Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client through Primer’s MCP server. Take actions from Claude Code, Claude Cowork or Codex with Primer’s agent skill and a revocable API key. Both are in beta and available on request.
Actions run through Primer’s agent skill and API, so every change shows up in Primer and can be previewed as a dry run before it’s sent. Making changes directly through the hosted MCP connector isn’t available yet; today it replies with a link into Primer.
Claude, ChatGPT, coding agents and any client that supports the Model Context Protocol can ask Primer questions. Primer’s agent skill, which takes actions through the API, installs in Claude Code, Claude Cowork and Codex.
Yes, with Primer’s agent skill and an API key. Your assistant can import lists, create and update audiences, set destinations and launch a sync after you confirm it, and every write can be previewed as a dry run first. The hosted MCP connector is read-only: when a change is needed there, Primer replies with a link into the product.
Only the question, a one-line rationale and the model name, never your conversation history or password.
Each question runs a multi-step analysis. If your client lets you set a tool timeout, give it at least three minutes.
Bring your data in, send audiences out, and see what’s working—across the tools your team already uses.
